Sort and set your items to exchange with neighbors on the curbside, between 8:00a.m. and 5:00p.m., with a sign showing the items are free. At the end of the day, bring any uncollected items back to your home. This event helps your items find a new home without going to the landfill. Don't forget to respect other people's property, do not walk on people's lawns and gardens, take only the treasures marked free at the curb, and don't discard previously picked-up treasures on another persons' lawn.

• Leaf and yard waste must be packaged in paper bags or in reusable containers and placed at the curbside by 7:00a.m.
• Plastic bags are not accepted.
• Bundle and tie branches; branches should not be longer than 4 feet, 2 inches in diameter.
• Grass clippings are accepted.

You can also bring your leaf and yard waste to the GFL Transfer Station for free any time of the year at 211 Corduroy Road, Vars.

Welcome to the 1st ever Accessible Halloween Trick-Or-Treating event in Embrun, Ontario. This event is held for children and adults (along with their families or caregivers) with special needs & disabilities who may not be able to take part in a traditional halloween event due to limitations such as mobility, sensory issues, allergies, etc. Our goal is to make this event as inclusive as possible and we hope this will bring smiles to many faces.

Join us for a spooktacular Halloween Party with DJ Ju-C! Get ready for a night of non-stop dancing and wicked beats. The party starts at 8pm and goes until 1am. So put on your scariest costumes, bring a few friends and join us for a frightfully good time.
