The 2023 edition of the Marionville Meet Me on the Main Street event will feature the bilingual Ottawa "Green Martin" eight-member band; local craft brewereries (Tuque de Broue, Smokie Ridge, Rurban, King's Lock) and delicious local food kiosks. On hand, "Jacky's Face Painting" and outdoor family games + more! Join your friends, family and community members for this memorable event. Last year, over 400 people attended. Special event not to be missed! No admission fee! Chairs and tables on site!

Sort and set your items to exchange with neighbors on the curbside, between 8:00a.m. and 5:00p.m., with a sign showing the items are free. At the end of the day, bring any uncollected items back to your home. This event helps your items find a new home without going to the landfill. Don't forget to respect other people's property, do not walk on people's lawns and gardens, take only the treasures marked free at the curb, and don't discard previously picked-up treasures on another persons' lawn.

We invite you to participate at the Meet Me on Main Street event Thursday July 13th, 2023, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. This year marks the 125th anniversary of the Police Village of Russell, and with the assistance of the 125th Steering Committee as well as other community groups, the Township of Russell is organizing this event where the community will gather in the street and support local businesses and organizations.
Admission to this community gathering is free. Food & beverage kiosks, local music, craft breweries, face painting, fire safety drill, outdoor fun, etc. will be available to all. Entertainment for the whole family!
Concession Street will be closed from First Street to Maple Street from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with access to pedestrians only. Detour will be in place.
Parking will be available at the following locations:
- Parking near baseball fields
- Russell Public Library
- Mother Teresa Catholic School
- New York Central Recreation Trail parking
- Duncanville Park and Ride
In case of rain, the event will take place at the Russell Arena, 1084 Concession Street.
